Merit Power-Lock Discs series - an outstanding quick-change sanding disc is the perfect choice for general use applications as well as working mild contours, flat surfaces, and is available in a variety of materials and types of construction, including Aluminum Oxide, Zirc Plus, Zirc, ALO Plus, Ceramic and Resin Fiber. Available in TYPE I Snap-on/Snap-off fastener, TYPE II Turn-on/Turn-off (equivalent to Standard Abrasives' Soc-Att® locking system or Norton's Speed-Loc fastener) and TYPE III Roll-on/Roll-off (equivalent to 3M™'s Roloc fastening system).

The PowerLock 'fx'-the flexible all purpose alternative to Merit's traditional quick change disc is ideal for contoured or flat surfaces. For weld removal, the most common grits used are 36-50 while 60-120 grits are used for removal of imperfections and blending. These discs have added flexibility and are used on a wide range of applications. Most PowerLock FX products feature Norton Premium Performance grain.

If you are looking to polish interior diameters what you need is Merit's Bore Polishers. The self-centering design allows you to apply equal pressure to the full wall of an interior diameter. Bore Polisher flaps then adjust automatically to the interior diameter, so you can polish the entire surface area with each pass - as the flaps wear, fresh abrasive is constantly exposed for even, consistent cutting.

Whether you need to clean and remove imperfections on metal surfaces, clean built-up residue, blend weld seams or create decorative finishes, Merit’s Abrasotex has the versatility to tackle the job. Choose from a number of hard-working products - including surface preparation discs, buffing discs, solid wheels, disc wheels, belts, rolls and interleafed wheels. Sand-O-Flex - an innovative brush-backed sander designed for finishing a variety of complex surfaces was developed by Merit in 1945. Sand-O-Flex eliminates the need to hand sand on both curved and flat surfaces. With its firm cushioning bristles, Sand-O-Flex's abrasive strips are forced into, around and over corners, hollow and fluted surfaces and small openings. Pressure is distributed evenly over the surfaces to prevent loss of detail and the flattening of rounded areas. Designed to fit most standard equipment and most electric hand drills when used with Merit adapters.

Merits resin fibre discs are made with only the finest grain available and selected for their individual performance characteristics required for each application.
